Went out on a limb and selected this cooler. It has been great so far. Keeps things cold, if you put enough Ice in it. Locked it up in a hot truck, parking lot full sun. I cold drinks after work, It fits the back seat of a Dodge Ram just fine. The seal is really good. I put foam water pipe insulation on the handles, so they won't drive you nuts banging up against the side of the cooler while driving down the road. I guess if its in the back of the truck, you won't hear it. Its a well built cooler . Only thing that bothers me, they won't come out and say 'Made in the USA'They beat around the bush on their website. On Amazon they don't say where they are made, they say the company headquarters in in South Louisiana. C'mon guys say you are made in USA or say assembled in USA with Thailand components. I want to know, that is important to me. No sticker on the cooler saying made in USA.I think a Bear would eat the latches, but I don't plan on letting a bear get to my cooler. They keep it closed tight.Its a great product, heavy little dude, but keeps ice and drinks cold, that's for sure! I would buy another one.hope this helps DH
