I wish this came with my Tundra, but I'm happy to buy it. I may have to buy another one...Those are awesome! Keeps everything cold for a long time. Totally worth the money!Yeti is the only one that stays cold all dayThese stay nice and cold, a great addition to our soft sided cooler. I like how thin they are and how easy to hold.Yeti Ice is supposed to be used in conjunction with regular old ice.I recently purchased a Yeti Tundra 45 Hard Cooler and tested how long it would keep ice stored in the garage. First test I got around 80 hours or so out of the ice (Cooler was not pre-chilled or full but kept in garage), this go around with the 4lb block of Yeti Ice there is still some ice 102 hours later..(Again not pre-chilled, left outside for a get together, and then kept in garage)Water was absolutely ice cold when I drained the cooler and the Yeti Ice Block was as well, obviously it was not still frozen but cold enough to be uncomfortable to hold too long.If it can potentially extend some ice an extra day it is worth it to me. The 4lb is pretty thick (1 1/2 inches or so) so keep that in mind depending on your cooler size!Keeps my lunches cool all dayI totally bought this for the Teri name. I bought a yeti tundra 65 and I wanted a couple of matching ice packs that had the Yeti name on them. Yes, I spent three times more on them than I needed to but it made me happy. Here’s what I like: *I bought the large 4 pound packs and they’re bigger than almost all of the others out there. * the packs have rugged tabs on each corner that you could run bolts through to make a giant ice block (which I plan on doing). *They are built well. They do t puff up and swell in the middle like other packs I have do. *Yeti puts a 2 yr warranty (it might be three but I’m afraid to check right now and lose everything I just typed here!) on these ice blocks. Here’s what I don’t like: *Obviously the price. Yes they cost a lot and as much as I’d like to have all Yeti ice packs in my Tundra 65 and my Yeti silo, I just can’t afford it. * I think that’s all I don’t like.Despite the steep price tag, I will still buy more ice packs from Yeti. I love my coolers and never have any problems with them and I expect to have the same luck with my Yeti ice. Paying extra for the ice packs give me peace of mind knowing that if I have any problems, my products will be replaced right away. Plus I really can’t wait to bolt up a 16 pound Bloch of ice : ) Yeti is a great company that is worth the steeper price. I also wanted to remind people that the most important steps in keeping your cooler/ ice packs cold for a long time in your cooler happen the night before you put your ice in. If you just dump a bag of ice into your warm cooler that’s been in the back of your truck in the sun all day yesterday, you aren’t going to get the most out of your cooler. Instead, try putting your cooler somewhere cool the night before, like your garage, basement or even in your house and put a "sacrificial" bag of ice or, better yet, your Yeti ice blocks in it over night. The next morning your cooler will be totally cool and ready for more ice without half of it melting right away. Good luck!Keeps food cold. Doesn’t sweat as much as other ice packs.I ordered two of these ‘ice packs.’ I promptly received the goods, but only one block. This was very much smaller than that advertised and weighed .98 lbs, instead of the advertised 4lbs! Upon close inspection this product is no better or different, apart from logo, than those blocks sold in every supermarket, at a fraction of the cost! Needless to say, the product was promptly returned, and a refund requested! Si besoin d'un autre j'achèterai chez Canadian Tire pour 5 fois moins chers.they sent a 2 lb. block which doesn"t hold its chill for many hours. My order specified a lb block. These are not 4 lbs very disappointing they weigh about 2.5 lbs at most .very dissatisfied with the product and they are not worth the price as they are out of date already was made in 2015 good for 5 years it's 2020 out of dateBought this because it fits perfectly into my Yeti Day Trip lunch bag. It’s not any better than a generic ice pack but you pay a premium for the Yeti name.
