Not sure why some people think this is a flimsy cooler. Once mounted it is as rigid as can be. Added it to my 97 Express van while doing an engine swap. My van came without a factory cooler even though it had hydroboost which builds extra heat in the system and this is surely a big upgrade from the loop of steel tubing most vans and trucks came with. I mounted it behind the front bumper to shield it from road debris in an area that will still have some ram air at highway speeds. Here in Texas I did not want another cooler blocking my a/c condenser. Considering GM felt a loop of tubing mounted in roughly the same location would do the job on most vans this will surely get the job done. Will add to this if I have future troubles. Not sure why another reviewer claims this is a 16" cooler unless he was sent the wrong one. This one barely fit the space available between the frame rails of a GM fullsize Express van.
